The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
